    Yesterday the European Commission published its long-awaited Employment package, a communication along with 9 working documents aimed at restoring growth and boosting job creation in the EU. "Given the current levels of unemployment, the European Union needs these ambitious and concrete measures in order to create more and better jobs, and to cope with major structural challenges like the ageing of the population," said Csaba Őry MEP, EPP Group coordinator in the Employment and Social Affairs Committee (EMPL).
