The EPP Group in the European Parliament has welcomed the long-awaited legislative package on the better implementation of the Posting of Workers Directive (96/71/EC), although there are still some doubts and prerogatives that the Parliament will now have to deal with.

Copenhagen inherits a heavy social affairs agenda, with the economic crisis, the ageing of the population and the numerous legislative issues on the drawing board.
